Unless otherwise indicated, our prints are gliclee prints on lustre paper. The gliclee process uses fade-resistant, pigment-based, archival inks that produce an incredibly detailed archival print that will last a lifetime.
Our prints are laminated and dry mounted on a sturdy substrate. We belive that this option delivers a superior product while at the same time reducing product and shipping cost. Furthermore, this option allows the print to be presented either framed or unframed.
The laminate is a 3 mil matte film that has no glare, is acid free and contains a UV inhibitor. This protects the image from UV light, gasses, finger prints, etc.
By default our prints are unframed and may be hung via mounting cleats. Optionally, we will frame a print, unmatted, in an oiled barn wood liner frame. Because the prints are protected by laminate, no glass is needed.
